The Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway, as its called, at 1350 Ladera Circle was the place where Presley and then-wife Priscilla retreated to after their Las Vegas wedding in 1967. The furnishings and memorabilia didn’t belong to Presley, but the house has been restored with him in mind.

In honor of his birthday weekend, special guided tours of the home the King leased for just one year will be held on the hour from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $25 and can be bought at the home’s website or by phone at (760) 322-1192. (Tours are arranged year-round by appointment only.)
